Prices are moderate to high, and sake is a bit ridiculously overpriced though they have a good selection. pay the price or walk the walk, parking in midtown can be difficult. Reservations are only accepted for parties of eight or larger, and valet parking is $5. Following the current midtown trend of mixing bar scene, dining and stained concrete floors, Mikuni is far too noisy to hold much of a conversation and women may want to bring along a light sweater. Mikuni, along with Tokyo Fro's, definitely market to the young urban professional looking to mix high end dining with a social scene. With multiple sushi bars, full liquor bar, hard surfaces, large flat screen televisions and vibrant colors, patrons looking for a zen sushi experience may want to look elsewhere.
